Regal Cinemas is showing $1 movies in Sacramento area. Here’s how long the deal lasts

Are you looking for ways to beat the heat in Sacramento?

As scorching temperatures blanket the area this week, Tennessee-based Regal Cinemas is offering discounted movie tickets and snacks as part of its summer movie series, according to its website.

“Summer is here, school is out, and this is your chance to spend some extra time with your kids,” the American movie theater chain wrote on its site.

The Regal Summer Movie Express series, which ends Aug. 7, includes $1 tickets on Tuesday and Wednesday mornings for select family-friendly films including “Kung Fu Panda 3” and “Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse.”

Discounted snack packs are available for Summer Movie Express moviegoers.

The $5 deal includes a junior-sized drink, a snack-sized popcorn and fruit snacks.

Dippin’ Dots are an extra $3.
