HORRY COUNTY, S.C. (WBTW) — Human remains found earlier this week on the Garden Center Connector in Horry County were those of a complete ‘partially skeletonized’ body, the coroner’s office said Thursday morning.

An initial report on Tuesday indicated that the remains found in the area of a homeless camp near Indian Wells was a human skull.

An Horry County police report obtained by News13 said officers responded to Woodlake Drive and found a human skull in nearby woods.

No additional information was immediately available. Count on News13 for updates.
