Residents warned about bear sightings in Iowa

The Iowa Department of Natural Resources (DNR) is sending out a warning about bear sightings in eastern Iowa.

Bears have been spotted in Cedar and Dubuque counties. The DNR says bears are native to Iowa, so sightings are not uncommon. Residents are advised to put food away and keep trash cans inside to avoid attracting bears.
