Road work ahead — Lanes on 7th Street in Joplin to close for inspections
JOPLIN, Mo. — Starting Monday evening, you can expect to see some traffic changes to 7th Street.
Starting July 21 through July 26 from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., lanes on Missouri Route 66 between Maiden Lane and Loop 49 or Range Line Road will be closed.
Crews will be inspecting manholes throughout this time, for a future project to make pavement, sidewalk, traffic, and safety improvements along Route 66.
MoDOT says this will impact traffic as lanes will be closed, and may cause some traffic delays, so making sure to also find alternate routes in advance.
Drivers are urged to stay alert of crews and equipment working to close traffic.
