Romney Wins Massachusetts

Networks projected Mitt Romney the winner of the Massachusetts Republican presidential primary on Tuesday, an easy victory in the state where he was governor for four years.

The Bay State race was never in doubt, and none of the three other GOP presidential candidates seriously competed there. The state had 41 total delegates at stake.

Romney was celebrating the victory in Boston, where he has lived for decades and where his campaign headquarters is located. He earlier was projected to also win in Virginia and Vermont.
