New RSW routes: Breeze Airways announces autumn flights from Fort Myers to New England

Looking to book an autumn New England getaway? Breeze Airways has the perfect deal.

The value airline is offering a new nonstop route from Fort Myers to Portsmouth, New Hampshire, starting in mid-October, along with its seven other fall routes.

"This is the first time RSW will have nonstop flights to Portsmouth and we will be pleased to welcome more visitors from New Hampshire to enjoy all that Southwest Florida has to offer," said Steven Hennigan, interim executive director of the Lee County Port Authority.

What is Breeze Airways?

Breeze Airlines is a relatively new airline that prides itself on comfort and affordibility.

The company celebrated its third birthday in May and has been recognized by Travel + Leisure readers as one of the top five best U.S. airlines for two years now.

Where does Breeze Airways fly to?

Breeze Airways announced in April that Fort Myers is now a base of operations, offering 19 destinations from RSW.

There's eight new nonstop routes that'll be offered in October:

  1. Long Island-Islip, NY

    • Wednesdays and Saturdays, starting Oct. 2

  2. Manchester, NH

    • Seasonal, Wed. and Sat., starting Oct. 2

  3. Stewart/Newburgh, NY

    • Seasonal, Wed. and Sat., starting Oct. 2

  4. Lansing, MI

    • Thurs. and Sun., starting Oct. 3

  5. Wilkes-Barre/Scranton, PA

    • Seasonal, Thurs. and Sun., starting Oct. 3

  6. Burlington, VT

    • Mon. and Fri., starting Oct. 4

  7. Bangor, ME

    • Seasonal, Wed. and Sat., starting Oct. 5

  8. Portsmouth, NH

    • Thurs. and Sun., starting Oct. 10
