Ruby Tuesday appoints pair of long-time restaurant industry executives to board

MARYVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Ruby Tuesday Inc. named F. Lane Cardwell and Jeffrey O'Neill to its board.

Cardwell has over 34 years of experience in the restaurant industry and was the president of P.F. Chang's China Bistro from 2011 to 2012. He previously was president and chief executive of Boston Market from 2009 to 2010.

O'Neill has served as president and chief executive of Einstein Noah Restaurant Group since 2008. He previously served as CEO of Priszm Income Fund, which owns more than 450 KFC, Taco Bell and Pizza Hut restaurants in Canada.

The appointments of both men were effective Monday.

Shares of Ruby Tuesday Inc., based in Maryville, Tenn., rose 12 cents to $6.57 in morning trading.
