Missing Sacramento children, father may be in Mexico: Police

(FOX40.COM) — The Sacramento Police Department is asking for help to find two children and their father after their mother was found dead in a residence.

Around 7:30 p.m. on Monday, SPD responded to the 3700 block of Didcot Circle for a medical aid call. Upon arrival, law enforcement found a woman who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Detectives discovered the woman had two children who were missing; 4-year-old Athena Lee and 2-year-old Mateo Lee. Police suspect the children are with their father, Camron Lee, 38, who they haven’t been able to get in contact with.

On Wednesday, the Sacramento Police Department said the 2023 Honda Pilot, originally identified as a Passport, has entered Mexico. It’s license plate number is 9JUS091.

Police said that because of the vehicle entering Mexico, an AMBER alert will not be issued.

Anyone with information about the case is asked to call (916) 808-5471 or (916) 443-4357.
