Sacramento’s newest coffee shop serves breakfast tacos on homemade tortillas. Where is it?

You’ll find breakfast tacos, classic coffee drinks and more at Sacramento’s newest cafe.

Zoe Coffee and Tacos had its grand opening on Saturday at 1829 22nd St. in midtown Sacramento.

The restaurant got its start as a catering company, according to its website.

After six years, coffee shop owner Josue Acosta decided to open a permanent brick-and-mortar location.

“We are honored to be a part of our neighbors’ day-to-day lives and Sacramento’s incredible community,” Zoe Coffee and Tacos said on its website.

What’s on the menu at new Sacramento coffee shop?

At Zoe Coffee and Tacos, you’ll find traditional coffee items such as lattes, drip coffee and cold brew — plus pastries and other food items.

Savory options at Zoe include cornmeal jalapeño and cheddar scones and breakfast tacos made with homemade tortillas and salsa. Diners can choose from bacon, potato, egg and cheese or potato, egg, cheese and Soyrizo

The menu also includes pupusas, El Salvadorian-style flatbreads stuffed with cheese and your choice of either chicken, pork or jalapeño. They come with housemade cortido and salsa.

Those with a sweet tooth can indulge in a tres leches loaf.

Menu prices were not listed on the cafe’s website as of Monday.

However, according to a on the Zoe Instagram page, coffee and breakfast tacos can be purchased as a “power couple” combo for $10. A latte and a breakfast taco cost $12.

In addition to being served with menu items, Zoe’s four housemade salsas are available for purchase at the cafe.

Better than Guac is a green salsa that’s considered mild, according to the cafe website.

For medium spice lovers, there’s Smoke Show, a red salsa made from charred guajillo chile peppers.

Then those looking for spicier salsa options can opt for a roasted serrano green salsa, Talk Verde to Me, or the habanero salsa, Hurts So Good.
