San Angelo ISD celebrates Class of 2024 Graduations
SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — Earlier this afternoon, San Angelo ISD celebrated the Central High School (CHS) and Lake View High School (LVHS) Class of 2024 with their graduation ceremonies.
The CHS graduation ceremony honored 626 graduates this morning at the Center at Stephens Arena. Meanwhile, the LVHS ceremony celebrated 205 graduates at the Foster Communications Coliseum.
Lake View High School Principal Zach Ramirez remarked on the resilience of the graduates, stating, “I’m most proud of is probably, I know we don’t talk about COVID much but they’re still part of that group and they had to learn to the strange things that you have to get through in high school, credit-wise, and all the different requirements the state has. So, you know, figuring all that out, navigating it and they were able to make that happen and here we are getting to celebrate them.”
The celebrations marked a significant milestone for the students, who navigated unique challenges during their high school years.
