‘Satanic and Nazi symbols’ found in home of Dallas man accused of shooting 2-year-old
A man accused of shooting a 2-year-old girl in a road rage incident in Dallas on Sunday night had “many satanic and Nazi symbols” in his house, according to an arrest warrant affidavit.
The toddler was wounded while her family was delivering for DoorDash in the 8500 block of Sweetwater Drive on Sunday night, police told Star-Telegram media partner WFAA-TV. The DoorDash driver almost hit a motorcycle, and the biker allegedly followed the family and shot at their vehicle, WFAA reported.
Dallas police said the wounded girl, who was shot in the abdomen, was stabilized and taken to a local hospital.
Jason Cain, 50, was arrested in connection to the shooting. He faces three counts of aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and one count of aggravated assault with serious bodily injury, according to jail records.
The affidavit obtained by WFAA also said police found “automatic weapons” and a handgun during a search of the suspect’s home.
