Satellite Reveals Widespread Damage After IDF Strike Targeting Hamas Leaders

Satellite imagery captured widespread devastation after Israeli strikes on Saturday, July 13, killed dozens of people in an area near Khan Yunis that the Israeli military had declared safe for civilians.

Gaza health officials said at least 90 people were killed, half of whom were women and children, and around 300 were wounded.

Israel’s Minister of Defense Benny Gantz said Israeli forces carried out a “surgical” attack targeting Hamas’s top military commander, Mohammed Deif, and other senior Hamas figures, in what the military described as an “open wooded area” containing a few small buildings and sheds.
