Savannah Police arrest two suspects listed on mayor's Top 10 Most Wanted Fugitive List

The Savannah Police Department (SPD) arrested two suspects listed on its Top 10 Most Wanted fugitives on Wednesday, according to an SPD press release and Chatham County jail bookings.

City of Savannah Mayor Van Johnson released the list at his weekly press conference only two days ago.

SPD arrested Lavorise “Papa” Jackson, 52, in connection with the June 28 shooting at the 1000 block of West Bay Street. His charges include aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to the SPD press release.

SPD also arrested Taurus Holloway and charged him with three counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime, and failure to appear, according to Chatham County jail bookings.
