Savannah Police arrests two more suspects from Top 10 most wanted fugitives list
The Savannah Police Department (SPD) has arrested two more suspects on its Top 10 Most Wanted fugitives, bringing the total of those arrested to four.
On July 16, City of Savannah Mayor Van Johnson released the list at his weekly press conference.
On July 23, SPD arrested Abu Moultrie for aggravated stalking, obstruction and a parole violation, according to Chatham County Jail bookings. Moultrie was arrested for an aggravated assault that took place on the 1700 block of Reynolds Street on May 28, according to SPD Spokesperson Neil Penttila.

On July 24, SPD arrested Raquavious Rawls for aggravated assault, battery, cruelty to children - third degree, criminal trespass, theft by receiving stolen property, receipt, possession or transport of firearm by a convicted felon or felony first offender, and possession of marijuana, according to Chatham County Jail bookings. Rawls was arrested for an aggravated assault that took place on the 600 block of East Lathrop Avenue on May 1, said Penttila.
SPD arrested Lavorise “Papa” Jackson, 52, in connection with the June 28 shooting at the 1000 block of West Bay Street. His charges include aggravated assault and possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, according to the SPD press release. SPD also arrested Taurus Holloway and charged him with three counts of aggravated assault, possession of a firearm by a convicted felon, possession of a firearm in the commission of a crime, and failure to appear, according to Chatham County Jail bookings.
