Sebastian County man dies in single-vehicle crash

SEBASTIAN COUNTY, Ark. (KNWA/KFTA) — A Hackett man is dead after a single-vehicle crash occurred in rural Sebastian County on Saturday afternoon, according to a crash report.

Dakota Gardner, 34, was traveling southbound on State Highway 45 in a 2001 Dodge around 4:45 p.m. when it entered a left curve and veered off the road to the right.

The Dodge struck a tree and overturned before hitting another tree and coming to a rest, according to the report.

Gardner was pronounced dead at the scene.

Conditions were clear and dry at the time of the crash, according to the report.
