Lanes reopened after rollover crash on Eisenhower Expressway
Lanes on the Eisenhower Expressway are all reopened after a rollover crash of a semi-truck early Wednesday morning.
A truck carrying a load of approximately 27,000 pounds of canned goods rolled over at approximately 5:20 a.m., Illinois State Police said. The crash occurred just east of the interchange with I-294, leading to a closure of the nearby eastbound lanes.
As of 9:17 a.m., all lanes have reopened, ISP said.
The canned goods remained intact, police said. The crash is under investigation.
