Semi truck strikes bridge on Walden near Lathrop

BUFFALO, N.Y. (WIVB) — A tractor-trailer crashed under a bridge in Buffalo Monday morning, temporarily blocking off part of Walden Avenue between Roetzer Street and Wasmuth Avenue.

The incident occurred just before 8 a.m. and no injuries were reported. The bridge, which is located just east of Lathrop Street, has a sign nearby that shows a height limit of 11 feet and 9 inches.

At the scene, the trailer behind the truck appears to have been heavily damaged. The road was closed for hours as crews worked to remove the vehicle and its trailer. It has since reopened.
