The National Weather Service in Buffalo has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for:

  • Northeastern Livingston County

  • Southeastern Monroe County

  • Northwestern Ontario County

Effective Until: 5:15 p.m.

Details:

At 4:17 p.m., a severe thunderstorm was located near Scottsville, approximately 9 miles south of Chili, moving east at 35 mph.

Hazard: 70 mph wind gustsSource: Radar indicatedImpact: Considerable tree damage is expected. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.
