Severe weather: Thunderstorms possible in central Ohio Saturday afternoon, evening
After Wednesday's severe weather threat fizzled out, there are more storms in the forecast this weekend.
Rain showers and thunderstorms are forecasted for Saturday, and some storms in the afternoon and evening may be severe. The main threat from these storms is damaging winds, but isolated tornadoes are possible, according to a hazardous weather outlook from the National Weather Service in Wilmington.
The weekend's storms could help to alleviate dry conditions caused by a heat wave earlier in the month.
Saturday will be mostly cloudy with a high around 89 and the chance of rain is 70%.
The threat of rain and storms will clear up at the start of next week.
