Keith Saba said he learned of the search Thursday morning when investigators came to his home.

“The police rang my doorbell and asked me if I had seen anything and was there a young lady in my house,” Saba said. “They asked me to come around here and asked me about a car that was parked next to the curb by my house.”

Police said the car was Simon’s and parked on North Longfield Avenue with her phone and keys left inside.

According to Sherwood police, the teen left work at Shotgun Dan’s Pizza in Sherwood at 10:30 p.m. then stopped at Raising Canes in North Little Rock around 11 p.m.

Latrina Blade lives near North Longfield Avenue. She said the neighborhood is usually quiet and is shocked that something like this happened near her home.

“Most of the time it’s like this, like nobody is really riding down our street like that,” Blade said, adding that she hopes Simon is found soon and is safe. “I hope that this is just a scare.”
