Shots fired, two in custody in Germantown
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man and a juvenile are in custody after a Germantown Police officer heard shots fired near an apartment complex Thursday.
Police say the officer was completing a traffic stop at 1:40 p.m. near Wolf River Boulevard and Miller Farms Road when he heard gunfire, then saw two people running toward The Bridges at Germantown apartments.
The officer took one person into custody and another was found in the apartment complex a few minutes later by responding officers.
No injuries were reported and police are investigating.
