SLO County airport will bring back direct flights to Las Vegas for limited time

The San Luis Obispo County Regional Airport is bringing back its daily direct flight to Las Vegas this year for a limited time only, according to a news release Wednesday.

The temporary flight service from SLO County to Harry Reid International Airport in Nevada will operate in partnership with Alaska Airlines. Air service will be available from Oct. 26, 2024, until April 21, 2025.

“We’re excited to offer nonstop service between the beautiful Central Coast and the vibrant city of Las Vegas, offering guests seamless connectivity and convenience,” Neil Thwaites, regional vice president of California at Alaska Airlines, said in the release.

Tickets for the direct flights are available for purchase now through Alaska Airlines.

“We are thrilled to partner with Alaska Airlines to bring back this much-anticipated service to Las Vegas,” SLO County airport director Courtney M. Johnson said in the release. “We encourage everyone to take advantage of this limited-time service.”
