A 19-year-old Somers man was arrested May 22 after he stabbed his father at a residence.
New York State Trooper Aaron Hicks said troopers responded to the scene of a domestic incident where a victim was suffering from a stab wound.
Hicks said an investigation found that Marino DeRosa, 19, of Somers stabbed his father following a dispute. The victim was transported to Westchester Medical Center by EMS with non-life threatening injuries.
DeRosa was later arrested for second-degree assault and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon. He was arraigned before Judge Michael J. McDermot in Town of Somers court and remanded to Westchester County Jail in lieu of $1,500 cash bail.
