Southern California substitute teacher arrested for alleged child molestation

A Southern California substitute teacher was arrested for alleged child molestation and sexual assault.

The suspect, Andrew Sandoval, worked as a substitute teacher and teacher’s aide in several schools in the greater Los Angeles County area, according to South Gate police.

He was arrested on July 25 on suspicion of child molestation and other related charges.

Details on his charges were not released, however, detectives are searching for additional victims of unreported sex assaults involving the suspect.

Sandoval’s photo was released in case victims may recognize him.
