Can you spot this alleged Orange County binocular thief?
This alleged thief may have been a little short-sighted with this plan.
In a post to X, formerly Twitter, the Irvine Police Department made some chirps while asking for the public for information regarding a man suspected of stealing an expensive set of binoculars from a bird-watching equipment store.
The post, full of bird-related puns, showed video of a man hiding the binoculars in his pants before walking out without paying.
