St. Gabriel police seek public’s help to find suspect who shot, killed man in 2021

ST. GABRIEL, La. (BRPROUD) — Police are asking for the public’s assistance as they continue to search for answers of who shot and killed a Baton Rouge man in December 2021.

On Dec. 13, 2021, St. Gabriel Police officers responded to the 5600 block of Martin Luther King Parkway after receiving a call about shots fired in the area. According to police, officers discovered two entry holes through several walls of a home.

The police department identified the victim as Timothy L. Brown, 28, of Baton Rouge. According to Capt. Jasmione Clark with the St. Gabriel Police Department, Brown was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds in his home. Brown was pronounced dead at the scene.

Clark stated that, when caught, “the suspect will face charges of murder, illegal use of a weapons, and criminal damage to property.”
