Stolen bouncy houses, water slides recovered; one arrested

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Crittenden County Sheriff’s deputies have saved summer for some kids by recovering a trailer full of bouncy houses, water slides and other inflatables that was stolen last week near Marion, Arkansas.

Crittenden County Crimestoppers was offering a $2,000 reward for information leading to the arrest of the person who took the trailer containing several inflatables parked along Bob Taylor Road, north of Marion.

The Sheriff’s Department said one local man had been arrested and charged with theft by receiving. Investigators have not said where they found the items but said more arrests are possible.

Detectives have not said how much the trailer and inflatables were worth.
