Swatting call led to temporary lockout at Auburn Hospital
AUBURN, N.Y. (WSYR-TV) — A swatting call for a false report of a man with a gun near the Auburn Community Hospital led to a temporary lockout on Thursday night, Jan. 16.

The report came in around 7:20 p.m. and stated that there was a man threatening people with a gun on Cady Street, which is on the emergency room side of the building, according to Auburn Police Chief James Slayton.
Police went to the scene and found out that it was a swatting call. The scene was cleared around 8:45 p.m.
