Takoma Park police seeking 2 suspects in armed robbery

TAKOMA PARK, Md. (DC News Now) — Takoma Park Police were looking for two suspects in an armed robbery that happened on Friday.

Police responded to the 1000 block of University Blvd. around 7:05 p.m. for an armed robbery.

Police said that a dark gray Dodge Grand Caravan approached the victim, who was walking to his car. The victim tried to run away, but one of the suspects got out of the front passenger side and pointed a weapon — a black Glock — at the victim.

Takoma Park Police said that the suspect “demanded property while yelling at him.”

Another suspect then got out of the driver’s side and took the victim’s property. They got out of the car and left by driving east on University Boulevard.

Police said that one of the suspects was last seen wearing a ski mask and all black clothing. The other suspect was last seen wearing a surgical mask, white t-shirt, dark blue jeans and white sneakers.
