Update: Taunton Police find missing 37-year-old woman

TAUNTON — Police Chief Edward Walsh from Taunton Police Department announced Tuesday afternoon that Amanda Brown has been found safe.

Amanda Brown, 37, from Taunton, had been missing since early June, according to Taunton Police Department. She is described as approximately 5 feet, 4 inches tall and about 100 pounds, with brown and gray hair.

Brown has ties to the Boston, Fall River and New Bedford areas. It wasn't made clear from Taunton PD where she was found.

The Taunton Police Department would like to thank those who have assisted in locating the woman.
