Teen attempted murder suspect to be tried as an adult
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A 16-year-old attempted murder suspect is now transferring to criminal court to be tried as an adult following the State’s hearing.
Jayvion Allen is charged with three counts of attempted second-degree murder, three counts of possessing/using a firearm during a dangerous felony, three counts of theft of property under $1,000, burglary of a vehicle, especially aggravated robbery, and violation of probation.
According to the Shelby County District Attorney’s Office, the court found probable cause for all charges.

During the hearing, the State also proposed a $200,000 bond, however; the court set it at $100,000.
