Teen dead, man wounded in Harlem knife fight

A young man was killed and another was wounded when they were knifed Thursday during an argument outside a Manhattan public housing development, cops and sources said.

The two men, ages 18 and 21, got into a quarrel in a parking lot behind the Rangel Houses in Harlem just after 5:45 p.m., they added.

“There was a big fight with lots of people fighting and screaming,” a 23-year-old witness who asked not to be named told the Daily News. “I went by and the kid was lying there face-up, not moving.”

The 18-year-old was stabbed in the torso and the older man was slashed in the torso, police said.

“It’s crazy out here,” said the witness. “It’s crazy what the world has come to.”

Medics rushed the men to Harlem Hospital, where the teen died. The older man was expected to survive his wound.

A broken kitchen knife was recovered at the scene, according to police sources.

Cops are looking for two men they believe knifed the duo.

There were no immediate arrests.
