DUCHESNE COUNTY, Utah (ABC4) — Duchesne County officials are asking for help looking for a teenager who went missing Wednesday night, according to the Duchesne County Sheriff’s Office.

The teenager was last seen by his family at home Wednesday night around 11 p.m. Officials say they began the search at 6 a.m. Thursday and have been looking “non-stop” ever since.

He is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall with light wavy hair and “prominent” ears. The missing child post says it “isn’t like him to just take off for no reason” and describes him as “a sweet loving kiddo that has a heart of gold and will help anyone and talk to anyone who gives him the opportunity.”

Several reports claim he was seen at a gas station in Fruitland where he was given a ride to Heber. Haegen allegedly told the driver he was going to stay with a friend there, according to a social media post.

He was last seen wearing ripped jeans and worn-down cowboy boots and may be wearing a tan shirt and purple baseball cap.

Officials are asking the public to spread the word and for anyone with information on his whereabouts to call Duchesne Dispatch at 435-738-2424.
