Registered Republicans in several Steuben County towns have primary elections on Tuesday.

One race that Republicans in seven Steuben towns will have a say in is the closely watched rematch in New York's 24th Congressional District between incumbent Rep. Claudia Tenney and challenger Mario Fratto.

Tenney defeated Fratto by nearly 14 percentage points in a 2022 Republican primary for Congress that drew about 32,000 GOP voters.

With a redrawn district, Republican voters in the towns of Avoca, Cohocton, Dansville, Prattsburgh, Pulteney, Wayland and Wheeler are now part of the 24th and will have the Tenney vs. Fratto race on their ballots.
