Thousands of We Energies customers wake up without power, majority in southeastern Wisconsin

Thousands of We Energies customers woke up without power Tuesday, with a bulk of the outages impacting customers in southeast Wisconsin.

As of 7 a.m., roughly 5,200 customers statewide remained without power. Here's a breakdown of the number of customers by county without power: Roughly 960 in Milwaukee County, 2300 in Waukesha County, roughly 880 in Walworth County, 540 in Washington County, 174 in Jefferson County and 128 customers in Ozaukee County.
