Three arrested after robbery, pursuit by CHP to Victorville

Three people were arrested on suspicion of robbery after they led California Highway Patrol officers on a car chase to Victorville Wednesday morning, according to the Bakersfield Police Department.

According to BPD, officers responded to the AT&T store in the 1800 block of Truxtun Avenue after a robbery involving multiple suspects with firearms. The three then fled eastbound on Highway 58 from Mohawk Street and CHP pursued the car until the chase ended in Victorville, according to BPD.

Matthew Sanchez, 21, and Avien Morales, 19, were booked into Kern County Jail on suspicion of robbery, conspiracy and reckless evading. Patrick Osborne, 17, was booked into juvenile hall on suspicion of robbery, conspiracy and reckless evading, according to BPD.
