Tommy Hilfiger outlet closes in Corning

CORNING, N.Y. (WETM) – The Tommy Hilfiger outlet on Market Street in Corning is now closed.

The store, which is located on the corner of East Market Street and Cedar Street, officially closed its doors on June 16 after 13 years. The once filled shelves are now completely empty.

18 News called the outlet and the phone number is no longer in service. The Tommy Hilfiger website still says the store is open. 18 News also spoke to a Hilfiger worker about the closing. She said she was not authorized to speak about why the store closed.

Tommy Hilfiger is from Elmira, NY and first visited the location in December 2017 for a book signing. The closest Tommy Hilfiger location to Hilfiger’s hometown is now located at the Waterloo Outlets.
