Tornado Kicks Up Dirt While Forming in Southeastern North Dakota

The National Weather Service confirmed a tornado in Richland County, North Dakota, on July 13.

Video filmed by stormchasers Nick and Amanda Elms shows a funnel of dirt and dust twisting through farmland during what they described as a “close range intercept of a strong and damaging, multi-vortex tornado.”
