Travis Kelce says no one picked underdog Kansas City to win Super Bowl 57

Kansas City Chiefs tight end and former Cincinnati Bearcats standout Travis Kelce got emotional talking about defeating his brother and fellow former Bearcat Jason's Philadelphia Eagles in Super Bowl 57.
And Travis was also good for some entertaining quotes after the Chiefs' controversial win, as he's known to do.
Among the most interesting postgame quotes from Travis was his claim during an on-field interview Erin Andrews was conducting with Patrick Mahomes - moments after Harrison Butker's game-winning field goal - that nobody picked Kansas City to win.
"Not one of y'all said the Chiefs were gonna take it home this year," Travis insisted. "Not a single one! Feel that s---. Feel it! And on top of that, the next time the Chiefs say something, put some respect on our name!"
Social media reactions to the Pro Bowl tight end being fired up over lack of respect for his team ahead of Sunday's championship:
What is Travis talking about? I picked the Chiefs to win.

The ability for elite players led by elite coaches to synthesize underdog narratives is amazing. Bill and Brady did it. Kirby had his team thinking they would be under .500. And now this. Amazing https://t.co/wfOhKVsS5X

Travis Kelce constantly talking about how much the Chiefs don’t get respect is just cringe at this point.

Travis Kelce playing the “no respect” card is laughably dumb.

No team has ever been doubted more than the team that just won a championship.

The chiefs creating this fake chip on their shoulder is super corny.
They were the regular season and post season favorites in the AFC lmao.— Andrew Russell (@Andrew_Russell7) February 13, 2023
