Tropical Storm Beryl could strengthen on its approach to Texas

Here’s the latest 4pm advisory from the National Hurricane Center:

As of the 4 p.m. bulletin, Beryl is still a tropical storm with sustained winds of 65 mph. Pressure has dropped, however, and further strengthening is possible through the next 12 hours as it makes its approach to the Texas coast.

The National Hurricane Center is forecast a category one hurricane at landfall.
