Kristie’s Way Scholarship was established in memory of Kristina Lynn Oldson Knapp who passed away in 2022. A 1994 Cambridge High School graduate, she fought and overcame cancer three times in her life, battling lymphoma twice and melanoma. Kristie spent five years courageously fighting cancer with positivity and an unmatched inspirational attitude. Her tenacity, determination and zest for living life helped her through many tough trials. Kristie's way was to make each person she encountered feel like the most important person in the world.

Applicants must be graduating seniors of John Glenn High School or Cambridge High School and accepted into a two-year or four-year accredited higher education institution. Applicants must also have a letter of reference attesting to their kindness and compassion towards others in their school and community. The scholarship may be used toward any major.
