Two armed men arrested in Bay Bridge traffic stop: CHP

At around midnight, CHP’s “graveyard” personnel initiated a traffic stop on the Chrysler sedan, which reportedly had no license plates, as it was traveling westbound across the Bay Bridge.

Once the car pulled over, the responding CHP officer noticed both passengers were armed and that the driver was wearing protective body armor. “Additional handguns, ammunition, and high-capacity magazines were also located within the vehicle,” CHP said.

CHP said the driver, a convicted felon, and the passenger are both Sacramento residents. Both men were arrested and booked at the San Francisco County Jail for multiple charges resulting from this traffic enforcement stop.
