Two boys, 12 and 13, shot, wounded in Bronx McDonald’s

Two boys, ages 12 and 13, were shot and wounded in a Bronx McDonald’s Saturday night, cops said.

The youngsters were the intended target of the 9:50 p.m. gunfire inside the fast food joint’s branch on White Plains Road near Mace Ave. in Allerton, according to police sources.

Bullets struck the younger boy in the leg and back and the older boy in the thigh, cops said. Medics took both to Jacobi Medical Center in stable condition.

Cops have made no arrests.

The shooting comes amid a downturn in gun violence in the Bronx’s 49th Precinct, which saw seven shooting incidents this year through June 30 compared to nine in the first half of 2023, a 22% dip.
