Two Grand Forks residents killed in Pennington County, Minnesota, crash

Nov. 26—GRAND FORKS — Two Grand Forks residents were killed in a crash in Pennington County Monday morning, Nov. 25, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.

Driver Tina Annette Klein, 68, and her passenger, Charles Roland Hill, 62, both of Grand Forks, died in the single-vehicle crash. According to MSP, their 2007 Honda Pilot was traveling eastbound on Center Street West in Bray Township, about 15 miles west of Thief River Falls, just before 8 a.m. The Pilot left the roadway, rolled and came to rest in the westbound ditch, an MSP report says.

According to the report, both people were wearing seatbelts and no alcohol was involved. Road conditions were reported as snowy and icy.

The Pennington County Sheriff's Office, Polk County Sheriff's Office, Sanford Ambulance and St. Hillaire Fire also responded to the call.
