Two in hospital after Roanoke shooting

ROANOKE, Va. (WFXR) — Two people ended up in hospital with gunshot wounds Saturday, according to Roanoke Police.

One woman was taken to the hospital by Roanoke Fire and EMS while a man went in a private vehicle. Both had non-life-threatening injuries.

Police believe the shooting happened on the 3500 block of Shenandoah Avenue NW. Otherwise, information is limited at this time and RPD is asking the public for any information about the incident.
