Two men & a woman sought in connection with Canton-area kidnapping, beating
The Northern Ohio Violent Fugitive Task Force is offering a reward for information that leads to the capture of Canton-area suspects Jermaine Taylor, Cassandra Cheek and Tyson Dean.
They are wanted by the Canton Police Department and U.S. Marshals Service for allegations of kidnapping and felonious assault.

Taylor, Cheek, and Dean are accused of holding victims in the basement of a home in the 1500 block of Clark Avenue SW from at least July 10 to July 12. While holding the victims, the suspects allegedly caused serious injuries to both by beating them with a baseball bat and pistol-whipping them.
Taylor, 33, is a described as about 5 feet, 10 inches tall and weighing about 174 pounds. Cheek, 34, is about 5 feet, 8 inches tall and weighing about 140 pounds. Dean, 37, is about 5 feet 10 inches and weighs about 150 pounds. All three are known to frequent the Cleveland and Akron areas.
The alleged victims are a woman, 37, and a man, 29.
The motive for the incident is still under investigation, said Canton police spokesman Lt. Dennis Garren.
