Two wounded in bar shooting in far East El Paso

Two people were wounded in a bar shooting early Sunday in far East El Paso, police said.

The shooting occurred about 12:20 a.m. at the Legendz Bar & Grill in The Pavillions II retail strip on Zaragoza Road at Vista Del Sol Drive, police said.

Two people were wounded and transported to a hospital in undisclosed condition.

The shooting remains under investigation and further details had not been disclosed, including the names of the persons who were wounded.

The shooting was part of weekend gun violence that included a shooting that killed a 24-year-old man early Saturday at the Gonzalez Place apartments, 4101 Rich Reem Blvd. near Montana Avenue in the El Dorado area.
