TWRA finds body in Normandy Lake

COFFEE COUNTY, Tenn. (WKRN) — The Tennessee Wildlife Resources Agency (TWRA) located a body in Normandy Lake on Sunday, according to the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office.

At roughly 4 p.m., Coffee County deputies were called to meet the TWRA at the Fire Lake portion of Normandy Lake. The TWRA had found the body of an unidentified white male in the water.

The investigation is still ongoing, and the man’s identity has not yet been released as his family still has to be notified.

Chief Deputy Frank Watkins with the Coffee County Sheriff’s Department told News 2 that preliminary evidence does not indicate any foul play.
