VIDEO: Man armed with rifle, sledgehammer wanted in multiple robberies
MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police say a man armed with a rifle and sledgehammer is now wanted in two gas station robberies over the last two weeks.
On June 5, just before 3:50 a.m., officers responded to a business robbery at the Circle K at 4010 Austin Peay Highway in Raleigh.
Armed robber caught on camera at Raleigh convenience store
Police say one male suspect was caught on camera robbing an employee at gunpoint. The suspect can be seen lowering his mask before entering the store and pulling the rifle out of his pants.

According to police, he was described as a 5’10-6’0 man wearing a gray hoodie, black pants, and black shoes.
Investigators said the same man is responsible for an armed robbery on June 14 at the Circle K at 3333 Thomas Street in Frayser.
In the store’s surveillance video, the masked man can be seen placing a rifle, a sledgehammer, and a large bag on the counter before robbing the business.

On Tuesday, employees at the store said they could not comment on the robbery but said customers are discouraged from wearing masks.
Signs posted on the doors of the business ask customers to remove all backpacks and masks before entering, or they will not be served.
The robber was described as a 5’10-6’0 man in a black hoodie with a red broken heart with the words “TRIPPIN,” black pants, black shoes, a white mask, and gray gloves.
Police say no arrests have been made at this time, but this is still an ongoing investigation.
