Marjorie Taylor Greene took the podium at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee on Monday to cheers and applause before offering her view on the damage Democrats have done during President Joe Biden's term.

Known for her far-right and conspiratorial views, Taylor Greene has been a Republican representative for Georgia's 14th district since 2021.

The Republican National Convention is in Milwaukee through Thursday, where former President Donald Trump on Thursday will formally accept the party’s nomination for the 2024 Election.

  • Who is she: A politician and one of the most outspoken supporters of Trump, Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-GA, has been in the U.S. House of Representatives since 2021. She attempted to oust Mike Johnson, R-LA., as Speaker of the House in May, but suffered a stinging defeat from a vast majority of Republicans and Democrats.

The Republicans' convention will take place over four days, from July 15-18 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
